I am driven by a lifelong fascination with the noise, energy and drama of all modes of transportation. There is an artistic vein that runs through my family, and as a child I was always busy with Lego, making models or drawing.
However, as I grew up I realised that there was exciting work in engineering actually designing and building full size creations. My school and university studies followed that route taking me through a career in Engineering Project Management.
Realising massive structures built to my designs reinforced my creativity but as life progressed I was finding myself more remote from 'the real action'.
Rediscovering painting revitalised my creativity and I approach my development as a painter as seriously as I treat my engineering career.
I hope that my paintings help you to evoke some of the excitement and energy that I feel when I paint.
